Miciah Maxwell
Michiah Maxwell and his wife Hannah are both 2 year graduates of Word of Life Bible Institute located in upstate NY. This is where they met and began their relationship. Throughout their time there, God sharpened, focused, and equipped them for a life of service and ministry. They were then married shortly after they graduated in May of 2020, and planted their roots in Island Pond, Vermont.
Michiah grew up in Island Pond and went to the local public school. Throughout his childhood, he faced many challenges with his identity, fear, and worldly temptations. The battle between right and wrong always seemed to be lost, being constantly weighed down by guilt and shame. It is only by God’s abundant grace that Michiah finally understood God’s immense love, compassion, and forgiveness available to him through Christ Jesus.
Michiah’s wife, Hannah, grew up in a small farm town located in southwestern Pennsylvania. She was homeschooled all the way through, by her mom. Her home and family life was filled with the teaching of God’s Word and modeled by her parents by how they conducted their home and marriage. She was saved at a young age, but her faith didn’t become a reality to her until later on. Although she did not face many of the hardships Michiah did, God used a difficult time in her highschool years to bring her back to Himself. Through this trial, she was disciplined, challenged, and ultimately humbled, bringing her back to the only solid foundation, Christ her Savior.
Today, the Lord has blessed the Maxwell family with their sweet daughter and another on the way! Michiah works for his family’s business as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. His wife is a full time stay-at-home mom and homemaker. Together, they enjoy the outdoors hiking, camping, gardening, hunting, dirt biking, snowboarding, snowmobiling, the occasional coffee date, and serving at Green Mountain Bible Church.
